 Wink
Received the following from Andre:
""Sitting in my tent after eating supper in thick snow sifting down. Climbing on steep snow we have now set up Camp 1 at approx 5750m on saddle above rock triangle on NW Spur and established route above to approx 6000m.  Everyone now back in ABC to rest till Sunday when Ulrike and Harry will make alpine- style push, climbing mixed snow/rock, to top of Spur to site a light Camp 2 on an ice plateau at approx 6400m, and go for summit.

After fine spell weather is again variable - hoping will get better for final push.  At ABC temp inside tents varies dramatically between -5 to +30 deg C.

Everyone here is well and send love home.""

If anyone wants to send a short message to the team, please e.mail me and I'll gladly do so!
Ciao, jenny

Hi Andre & team

Folks at L&S are watching your progress with excitement.  Hope your weather improves.  Wet and cold in Cape Town.

Hi everyone - I've sent all the messages through to the team . . . . in the meantime I heard a bit earlier that it is snowing today on their rest day at Advanced Base Camp .   Pastime:  "brainteaser feat" - create 4+ letter words containing the letter "m" .  The target is 60 words .   I haven't heard yet who won and how quickly . . . . ciao, jenny
