Kilimanjaro March/June/July 2006
« on: Dec 22 2005, 01:19 »

Hi Everybody,

I've got plans to climb Mt Kilimanjaro via Machame route in March / June or July 2006 with 7summits,
I'm from the Netherlands with no experience in hiking/climbing untill now, but have a fair condition and strong will !

Anybody who's got somelike simular plans and does not prefer to go alone ( I don t mind if I have to but it looks better with some company then without) You can leave Your message here on this forum or send me an e-mail with Your ideas,

Best regards
Rob

hey rob,

i was planning to go in mid 2006 too; with 7summits. but i have to postpone it to dec 2006 as my current project is delayed and wont end till nov 2006. maybe mid to late dec...so that i wont get caught in the rainy season.

i'd prefer to go via the machame route, plus add 2 extra days. the extra days is for me to comfortably acclimatize as well as take tons of photos at my own pace  ;D

if your plans get delayed, let me know  O0

cheers,
jk

Hi JK

I don't want to wait untill dec 2006 , so we won't meet this time.
I'm planning on early in the year, and when I like the thrill of it I'll maybe go for an Aconcagua-summit later in the year,
