Have received a text message from Lorenzo, wishing for me to pass on his apologies for announcing the death of Thomas before his family had been informed. He says he did not intend to cause any offence. We took the relevant blog posting off line as soon as we were asked but by then it was too late and its contents had been cross-posted to other forums; I reinstated it after Alex made his press release.
Noel and Lorenzo are now in Nepal, not far from Kathmandu.
Chris.
