See below story.  Too bad he won't get the record since Malli has done it in 172.  Quite a feat nonetheless at 55.  He is my friends family friend so I'll have to have a chat with him when he comes back from Antarctica.

Hi Mark,

thanks for that. His wife already sent me the basics, though I am still waiting for a date n Kozzie and pictures/bios. So any of those are welcome at info - at - 7summits.com.

He did beat the Carstensz Pyramid record though!
