could someone please tell which route to take on kili i have read so much and am
still not sure which way to go

Hi

The 7 day Lemoshi or Shira route is best, allows plenty of time to sightsee and acclimatise.

Also do Mt Meru first to aclimatise as most miss this mountain. Ask the guide to take the longer route as you will see more the day before the summit.

Echoing Roger's comment, I just did the Lemosho/Machame route. I was on the mountain 7 days. It was challenging but not too difficult, very scenic and I even saw dozens of Colobus monkeys in the rain forest. There is more chance of viewing wildlife from this side of the mountain.


I had a fantastic 7 days on Kili; I can't recommend this route enough!
