how is carstensz possible in 49 min :| how high is base camp?

Hi Guys!

I doubt very much his claim of 49 minutes to climb Carstensz. Base campis at 4200m and the summit is at 4884m. But it is not possible to run to the summit, it's a wall that you have to climb or scrambleto get to the ridge and after that, the ridge will take at least 45 minutes to do. Most people climb Carstensz in a time between 4 and 10 hours. We did it in 7 hours.

Unless they had fixed ropes or something and he used mechanical ascenders. I still can't see how he could do it that fast though...  ???
