So Ladies and Gents,

Being a noob on this forum I'd like to find out who else will be having a stab at a summit (7 or otherwise) this year ?  I'm off to have a go at Elbrus on June 7th.

Cheers

Hi Wakb!

I'm off to Denali on June 2 for summit number 6. I got operated on my left knee in November but I think I'll be ok for Denali. Good luck on Elbrus, it's a nice region of the world and a nice climb.

Hey Mike W,

Number 6 eh !  Which one do you have left after Denali ?

I was lucky to summit Denali last year, however not without issues.  My boots were a little tight on summit day and I stupidly put on an extra pair of thinnies.  The result was that by the time I had traveresd the "autobaun" all my toes were numb.  Only got the feeling back about 3 months later !!

Good luck, I look forward to seeing the photos and reading a trip report.

Cheers

Hey MikeW, yet again we miss each other by a couple of weeks! Smiley I'm heading to Denali on May 8th. Getting kind of excited now thinking about it! If successful this will be my 3rd of 7summits.
Good luck with it!

As for other summits this year - I'll be having a stab at whatever I can really, including another attempt to beat the Irish record for the highest peak in every county in Ireland in less than 100 hours. Record is 98 hours 45 mins...
