Hello friends..

I am a new member of here from Turkey.  Last summer on Mount Ararat Climb, i saw some of 7summits.com members..And i found that site.

We are planning to go Klimanjaro on 2011. And i need some info about that.

We think to go from Kenya/Nairobi. It is easy to be close the Mount from Nairobi ? Should we organize it from here before go there ? If yes, do you know any contact from that geography ?

Thanks
Sait

Hello Sait,

thanks for your question. It is not easy to go from nairobi, Kenya as the mountain is completely in Tanzania, so you would need either a full day shuttle bus to/from Moshi or aflight to JRO (Kili) airport.

Please see the FAQ about climbing Kilimanjaro for this and much other useful information, it can be found here:

Also check out http://7summits.com/kilimanjaro/trips.php for affordable expeditions to Kili!
With best regards,

Harry
