Mount Elbrus 2012

My friend and I are doing mount Elbrus next august, this is going to be our 1st out of the 7.

What's the best advice you can offer us?

Costs a lot to repatriate a body!
Also, terrorist could result in you having to stay a while in an area, costing you money.
They might steal your stuff, rob you, injure you.
A ski lift could fall on your head requiring medical attention to be sought (and paid for)

Or they might not affect you at all, and you'll probably break your ankle in a minor fall on the mountain, with no terrorists in sight...  >:D
