Mark Pfetzer

I read the novel/book"Within Reach, My Everest story", about an American climber named Mark Pfetzer. He tried twice(at the age of 15 and 16) to summit Everest, unsuccessful. At the end of the novel he states he was going to try again in May of 1999. Just wondering if anyone knows if he was successful, and where his climbing career is at now. What a great book, total determination. Hope to hear from some one. Thank you, Jason
