Climbers have three-course dinner party on mountain summit

A group of climbers have held a dinner party on top of an Argentinian mountain - about 21,000ft above sea level.

The six climbers wearing evening dress ate a three-course meal at the summit of Mount Aconcagua.
They ate smoked mussels, lamb fettuccine and strawberries and ice cream.

According to The New Zealand Herald, the group is claiming a world record.
They carried a lightweight table and chairs to the summit before sitting down to eat.

Expedition leader New Zealander Craig Crosse said: "We are absolutely stoked to have achieved this climb.
"We had a few hitches along the way with team members being sick and we had to contend with rather cold and windy conditions, so it was an excellent effort by the whole team."

A close friend of climber Kathryn Burtenshaw said the members of the group are "challenge junkies".
Lisa Hislop told the paper: "It was make or break this time. They were really focused on getting it done and they considered it a great life experience."
She said the group had only half an hour to set up the meal and enjoy the dinner party before having to descend.
