The highest mountain on the 17 largest islands
« on: Jan 15 2004, 02:32 »

Read that Gerhard Schmatz had climbed the highest mountains on the 17 largest "Islands" in the world. Anyone know if any other have done the same?
It would also had been a good way to end the question about "what is a continent and what islands is a part of that continent etc."
In these days there is possible to climb all the seven summits in less than a year. Let it be more difficult!

There is no question about that in my opinion

the question is "Anyone know if any other have done the same?" and i would say probably not, because that is not a very popular goal, and if so, only one or two other people.
