I recently climbed Snowden in Wales after just two attempts (train broke down on the first attempt). Am I ready to make a serious attempt on Everest?

You passed, no doubt.
Matt Dickinson never made it to the summit of Snowdon (or Ben Nevis, or any other mountain either for that matter) before he summited Everest.
You're ready for sure.
