30th April: Queensday
« on: May 1 2005, 02:56 »

In the Netherlands we celebrate queens day today, including loads of parties, music, and one giant fleamarket. The local Tibetans seems to know about this as they keep bugging us non-stop, trying to sell cheap junk :)
Nathan just left for middle camp and will go to ABC tomorrow.

Noel and Lynne arrived back in BC around lunch time and though Noel's eyesight has not improved (nor worsened). We will continue my schedule and will go up to middle camp tomorrow as well, together with Lorenzo.
Phase II of the Climb of Everest has begun!

Song of the day:
Train- Drops of Jupiter
"Did the wind sweep you of your feet?"

Here's to a safe, eventful and successful "Phase II".  Good Luck!

Good news that Noel and Lynn are back...just hope that his eyes will heal quickly and that he will feel comfortable continuing on.

All the best,
mc
