Title: The 2nd highest seven summits
Post by: Cy Kaicener on Aug 24 2005, 06:59
Has anyone climbed the second highest seven summits. This would be more challenging. They would include such mountains as K2, Dychtau, Tyree, Kenya

Hi Cy,

welcome on the board. Please see this discussion (http://7summits.com/forum/index.php?topic=261.0) and this FAQ about the exact same question (http://7summits.com/faq/index.php?display=faq&nr=39&catnr=8&prog=p1&lang=en).

I still do not think anyone has climbed them all, especially as Tyree has only be climbed by a handful..

Cheers,

Or all 23 8000m summits (includes all the subsidiary summits of the world's 14 8000m peaks. I don't think that's ever been done)

Might give that one a miss myself...

However Olypmus Mons on Mars would be some expedition - 88,582 feet. I'd like to see anyone climb THAT without supplemental O2!!!  ;D
