Title: This climber has climbed the 47 highest peaks in Europe -Next the World
Post by: Cy Kaicener on Sep 1 2005, 07:40
This is an article from a while back about a climber who has climbed the 47 highest peaks in Europe and is now doing it in the Americas. There is no current news. His goal is to go all over the world.  http://www.baberfamilytree.org/People/rod.htm

Hi Cy,

any idea what he is doing now? Btw, it is not the 47 highest peaks in Europe (those are all in France/Switserland/Italy, but the highest point in all countries which is impressive.

Cheers,
Harry

Here is another link about Rod Baber's attempt to climb the highest peak in every country of the world. I would like to find out if he has tackled Asia yet.
http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=3897&messageid=1022639277    This is about 24 countries in N.America and 12 in S.America
Here are two lists of the peaks involved  http://www.peakbagger.com/list.aspx?lid=1100
