Another Summer Adventure Opportunity for High School Students

You'll remember Erik's trip with Global Explorers in June 2006 when he led 18 blind and sighted students into Machu Picchu.  This was the adventure of a lifetime for every participant ....and a great teamwork and leadership experience.

Next July,  Global Explorers is providing two similar programs for blind/visually impaired and sighted high school students:  one is Leading the Way 2007 --  A Blind and Sighted Journey with Erik Weihenmayer to the Peruvian Andes.  A program description can be found on www.globalexplorers.org.  (click on Disabled Student Programs,  which also details one other program to the Amazon,  but not involving Erik). You may also call Global Explorers at 888/359-3801.  Braille and large-print application materials are available.  If you know students who would benefit from such an experience,  please have them apply immediately
