Title: Rwenzori Mountains, Mt Stanley in particular

Has anyone been to this area before? Am looking at possible trip here in December with a friend. Any info on Climbing possibilities, companies that could arrange logistics etc.

Looking to climb a few of the summits in the area

It is 200% recommended, maybe the best trip I ever did :)

It is still quite undeveloped though, so you need to go with an expensive operator or organise a lot yourself. First get in contact with the Uganda Wildlife Authority about current permits etc:

And ask them about current companies that are advised.

There are many possibilities for local companies getting you to the area, there you can hire porters etc on the spot.
