Field Touring Alpine - Australian company run guided winter ascents. Maybe they could give you the info you need.

hi mate,

i have just got back yesterday from a winter ascent of aconcagua with fieldtouring. there was absolutely no snow, only a sprinkling on the summit ridge, impossible to board unless it really dumps a load one year. field touring were not very good at all, they promised many things including a 'safety net of back up', which was non existent. we had to go somewhere official and sign a form to say that we understood that there was no chance of a rescue, ity was very much like an independent trip and not worth the $3800. i would not recommend thyem at all, the owner seems to be full of false promises. wewere told we would have mules to carry kit, they didnt exist, i carrie 120lbs into base camp!

make sure you research thoroughly!
