Hey who's that strange guy beside that amazing world-famous climber??  ;D  ;D

I think I recognize the smile  ;D

Hahaha, I heard about climbers anonymous, it's his own backpocket as he had promised not to climb Everest again and had to pay a fine to his friends  :lol)

That Everest (& Ama Dablam as well) pic is really great. Do you have that on slide or just digital? Can you add this and some others to theEverest images section (http://7summits.com/images/categories.php?cat_id=7)?

Oops, Tyra is gettin jealous now and tries switching off my monitor  ;)

Hi Trunl

I met him this year at Everest base camp. He was there with Dave Breashears, Robert Schauer and Veikka Gustafsson. I joined them all for tea a few times. All I remember is that they had the best food at base camp and the only tent with a carpet...  :) Ed,  Robert and Veikka were really nice. Dave scared me a bit at first because he's quite intimidating! but after they summited he was more chilled out and pretty cool..

All of these pictures look truly amazing!  :)

Daisy, I am still waiting for the e-mail from you. My inbox can take up to 100Mb of files so just send loads and loads of pics on you for your profile on the Elbrus website.

Please, also take a look at in and maybe you can fill in the info that we want to know about the different members!

Cheers,

Buddha

Daisy, BCM is still extremely cool in my eyes  :P

Actually you would think that Ed and Co. would be very uptight since he is famous. Nice to hear that he is a nice fellow!  :)

Hello Daisy,

The question isn't directed to me but I will give it a shot anyway! ;) Since Ama Dablam is a mountain I would presume that it was there when she was!  ;) On the other hand, you might be referring to an Ama Dablam that is unknown to me but familiar to Daisy...  :P

Yes indeed I think Ama Dablam is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world  :)

I was at base camp from April to June this year...

Harry,
I will try and add some pics to the Everest section of the website today
Title: Everest South Col pics
Post by: Daisy on Nov 4 2004, 23:46
One of our sherpas, Lhakpa took the attached pictures at the South Col. I only discovered them when I got the pictures developed because he had borrowed my camera. A nice surprise to find the pictures! You can see Pumori emerging from the clouds in the first one and there's a great view of Nuptse (I believe) in the second..

Still trying to upload my pictures to the Everest section but I keep getting error messages. I'll keep trying..

Thanks Daisy! I have approved all the Everest pictures, they can be found in the images section (http://7summits.com/images/categories.php?cat_id=7). And remember, all uploaded images will also appear randomly on the site and can be sent as eCards!

You are right. There was an expedition called "Ama Dablam" on Everest this year, I met them. Sorry about that!  ;)
