Title: 7summits used for spamming
Post by: 7summits on Jun 24 2002, 15:34
Dear visitors,

it has come to our attention that some internet lowlife has been abusing random 7summits.com addresses as return addresses for their mortgage and loans spam.

 >:(     >:(

Please be assured that we do not spam and that no one of the people who are being spammed is from our mailing or contact list.

They are simply entering randomname @7summits.com as the reply to address, why they chose us we have no clue. We just received many bounced emails which arrive at our servers as the recepients (or their servers) think we sent them. We did not.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, it causes us more than enough...  >:(

Thanks and keep climbing,

The 7summits team

Well, they are doing it again, this time for some porn related thing.
Again: we do not spam, and our mailing list is not used, they just buy on of these mailing list CD's with millions of (old ) addresses and fake the sender as randomname @7summits.com.

We know beacuase we get flooded with bounced emails we did not send...  >:(

It's not us....

Thanks and keep climbing,

Well, the spammers are busy again..
This time it's sent about antenna boosters for your scell phone (yeah right), the spam directs to http://www.my-best-meds.com (http://www.my-best-meds.com); another one is about online teaching and certification/careers stuff.
Anyone know a good hacker that can 'help' us gainst these sites?

-You can complain directly at one of the email addresses found on their site:
support@theantennabooster.com
