hey all,
i am going in Dec 06, possibly the last 2 weeks or so. i will go via 7summits.com (i think the Force is strong in Harry....hehehehe.....i can sense it)
i will probably take will be the normal Machame route, and i will add 2 extra days for acclimatization. i dont mind the extra days, as i hope to make it to the summit on my first try. i will also fly in direct to Moshi, possibly via Amsterdam.
training as a group is tough, considering most people have a full time job. my own schedule is all over the place, and so i try to squeeze in here and there. anyone has a job offer that pays more, and require less time?

you folks can train together if you could meet up, but i'll pass. trust me, its a lot harder training on my own, but its good for my mental strength.
at the moment, i go for endurance runs (20 mins, and increasing by 5 mins each month till i hit 50-60 mins) and work out in a gym 3 times a week and do stair climbing with a 12 kg pack. i hope to be in great shape for Kili by Dec 06.
btw, i love western food (potatoes in particular), though normally i'll will not take meat in the mountains, except for fish.....just a gastronomical preference.

if anyone else wanna come along, you are more than welcomed....doesnt matter where you come from. we'll take it slow.....its a small world man......
jk
