Mont Blanc for dummies - how NOT to do it
« on: Mar 6 2006, 22:36 »

I came across this link in the UK climbing forum...

A scarily honest account by a group of beginners on Mont Blanc

Although a helicpoter to bring down your bags? Now THAT's an interesting idea!  >:D

Oh my goodness.  :eek)

Thanks for sharing that MoT  8)
Half way through I had to get me a bag of nachos and salsa, so I could really sit and be concentrated on this story. Can't believe it is true as the narrator should have been killed.

There are so many mistakes made it will take too much time for me to list them. Let's say they can be glad to be alive. About 150 people die yearly in the Mt Blanc Massif, most of them act stupid like these guys.

Please take all mountains seriously folks...
