Eduardo Silva from Brazil has died after summiting Aconcagua. On the way down he had problems breathing, sat down and died. It is most likely that he had pulmonary oedema, a lethal form of AMS where the lungs get flooded with fluid after ascending too quickly.
His wife suffered from frostbite and had to be resqued.
