Additional InfoPersonal Bio:

Daniel E. Barter DOB: January 1, 1955 U.S.A Citizen

Dan grew up in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and moved to New Hampshire in 1974. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Dan’s love of adventure sports excelled while fighting forest fires at Grand Canyon National Park.

A career change followed that encompassed silver recovery and environmental compliance. In 1990, he founded Northeast Reclaiming Services, Inc. out of Derry, NH. During this time, Dan became the proud father of daughters, Faith and Jessie.

Outdoor challenges continued to be an active part of Dan’s life. He’s enjoyed skiing, sailing and climbing. In 1996, Dan undertook his first high altitude climb. Since then Dan has gone on to attain the most difficult of challenges, the highest point on each continent around the world, the “Seven Summits”. His credited mountaineering expeditions of the world are as follows: Mount Kilimanjaro (December 16, 1999), Denali, also known as Mount McKinley (June 3, 2003), Mount Everest (May 15, 2004), Aconcagua (January 17, 2005), Mount Elbrus (July 3, 2005), Mount Vinson
(December 3, 2005) and Mount Kosciuszko (January 22, 2006).

As an entrepreneur and accomplished mountaineer, Dan has some exciting stories to share. He now speaks and his talks prove to be both educational and inspirational. In them, you can discover a winning formula to "Achieve Aspiration" or "Reach for Your Summit”. For information, please contact Leslie at Lesliejag @ Comcast.net.

All of Dan’s mountaineering accomplishments have been supported by wife Leslie and his daughters (Faith and Jessie). Dan and Leslie currently live in Raymond, New Hampshire and when they are not hiking or scuba diving, you may find them sailing on their custom Ketch.
