Bio:
I first started climbing in Sussex on the local Southern Sandstone, at the age of about 10. After walking and climbing throughout the UK, I was lucky to visit Kilimanjaro with a group of friends in the summer of 97, and was hooked. The idea of attempting the 7 began after meeting Eric Blakely the following year, after he had summited Everest.
Fortunately I made good friends with Sean McEvoy and Kevin Neal whilst climbing Denali, and we then had a few great trips together. The trip to Carstensz in December was a fantastic finish, and great to climb with Lorenzo again (who also says hi to you Harry!).
