climbing bio: After joining the Army and leaving the flatlands of Nebraska,I ended up stationed in Alaska. It was in Alaska that I got the bug to climb mountains.

personal bio: I was born and raised on a farm in Nebraska and enjoyed practicing rope tricks. While attending a trick roping school in Arizona as an adult, I met people that had performed rope tricks on the Great Wall of China and other cool historical places. At that time I was planning to climb
Mt. McKinley and figured I could perform a rope trick on the summit.
After summiting McKinley, I decided to attempt a rope trick on each of the Seven Summits, which I completed this July on Elbrus. I still live in Alaska and work in Prudhoe Bay for BP Alaska as an Instrument Technician.
