Biografie

Raed Zidan is a Palestinian mountaineer and businessman, born in Kuwait to parents from Kufr Lakef near Qalqilya, who lives in the United States and Dubai. He reached the summit of Everest on 22 May 2013, the first Palestinian man to do so, and raised the Palestinian flag there as he had on Kilimanjaro.

He completed the 7 summits on Denali in June 2016, climbing with Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani and Suzanne Al Houby; the expedition was filmed for the documentary The Seventh Summit.
