How does joining a guided climb work in practice, and who sorts out the visa?
How do I join a guided climb, and who arranges the visa?
You book directly with an expedition operator; this site does not sell trips. The operator directory lists the companies that run guided climbs on each peak, and shows which ones guide a peak themselves rather than resell another company's expedition. Deposits, cancellation terms and what is included are set by the operator, so get them in writing before you pay. The visa is your own job on every peak; the operator supplies any supporting letter the application needs.
