Biografie
Edward Buckingham, born and raised in Cornwall, was the first Cornishman to climb the highest summit on each continent, finishing on Vinson on 4 January 2014, and in November 2014 added Carstensz Pyramid 'to make sure there was not any doubt'. A postman with the Royal Mail for twenty-six years, he received the Cornish Gorsedh award for Exceptional Endeavour in 2013 for raising the St Piran's flag on the summit of Everest. His book '7 Summits' tells the story.
