One discussion for every idea on the 7summits.com roadmap. Every idea — the team’s and members’ — has its discussion here; the idea, its status and its votes are shown at the top, and members can vote right there, up or down.
Good topics here
- How you would use the idea, on which peak and when
- A detail that would make it work better for you
- A reason it may not be worth building
To propose an idea, use the form at the bottom of this room: a title, a short pitch, what kind of idea it is, and the full case. It takes votes from the moment it is posted. If the team picks it, it moves onto the roadmap with its votes; if we say no, we say why, in its discussion.
Better in another room
- A mistake on the site, or something that does not work: Feedback, ideas & corrections
- News about 7summits.com itself: Announcements & site updates
The guidelines in brief
Treat everyone here the way you would treat a stranger you were roped to. Be respectful: disagree with the idea, never attack the person. Be helpful, be honest (including when the honest answer is “not yet”), and be welcoming to beginners. No personal attacks, no private information about other people, no spam, and if you stand to gain from the advice you give — as a guide, an operator or a brand — say so in the post.
