I climbed Kilimanjaro and loved it. Is Aconcagua the natural next step, or am I underestimating it?
I climbed Kilimanjaro. Am I ready for Aconcagua?
Kilimanjaro tells you that you can cope with altitude; it says nothing about whether you can cope with Aconcagua, which is a two to three-week expedition at almost 7,000 m where you carry a 20 kg pack, make your own camps, melt snow for water, walk every stage twice to acclimatize (the cache-and-carry system) and sit out storms in a tent at minus 20 °C.
