Summit day on Aconcagua: which boots?Encuesta

HarryEquipo7Summiteer2 oct 2026

Summit day starts in the dark at around 6,000 m (19,700 ft), often in strong, very cold wind. What did you wear — or what are you planning to?

A reply with the model and how your feet felt at the top is worth more than the vote.

I've used heavy double plastic boots twice to the summit. No cold feet whatsoever and could 'ski' down the Canaleta without any worry for my feet or boots.

Next time I would probably use my Millet Everest as thy are lighter, but I would take much more care descending as not to ruin them on the loose rocks.
