Biografie
Vladimir Kotlyar, known as «Бродяга», is a Russian mountain guide born in Minusinsk, Khakassia, in 1988. He has climbed since around 2005 and worked professionally in the mountains since 2010.
He completed the Messner 7 summits with Denali in 2019, and has also climbed four of the fourteen eight-thousanders: Everest, Manaslu, Makalu and K2.
He appeared in Valdis Pelsh's documentary «Ген высоты» about the 2016 Everest expedition, and in 2025 survived a respiratory collapse near the Balcony while guiding a descent of Everest.
