A second attempt at Aconcagua with Adventure Peaks over Christmas 2003, by the Polish Traverse. Sixteen set out and three summited; Tim turned round on the col above Independencia in wind gusting to 60 mph and a wind chill near −40 °C, and explains why that was the right call.
