Biografía
Robert John Kay, ciudadano con doble nacionalidad estadounidense-australiana, completó las 7 cumbres en el Everest el 19 de mayo de 2016, en su cuarto intento. También ha escalado los 58 picos de Colorado de más de 14.000 pies, los puntos más altos de los 50 estados de EE. UU., el Mont Blanc (23 de abril de 2011), el Manaslu (con descenso en esquí), el Lobuche East, el Island Peak y el Pico de Orizaba. Durante el descenso del Everest desarrolló edema pulmonar y fue rescatado desde el Campo 2; el rescate aparece en la serie del Discovery Channel Everest Rescue.
