Biografie

Yasunori Tanaka (田中康典) is a Japanese mountain guide from Ishikawa prefecture, born in 1951, certified by the Japan Mountain Guides Association and an International Mountain Leader. He climbed Aconcagua in January 2003, Elbrus in August 2004, Kosciuszko in November 2004, Kilimanjaro in May 2005 and Denali in June 2006.

He reached the summit of Everest on 18 May 2009 and completed the 7 summits on Vinson in December 2009, by his own count the 20th Japanese to do so and the first from Ishikawa.
