Himalayan Database figures put Everest traffic at the top of its 30-year range

Naked Science, summarising Himalayan Database records, reports 1,519 people on Everest in 2025: 585 members and 934 hired workers, with 878 reaching the summit. The same data shows summit success now almost entirely confined to spring, and hired staff making up more than 60 per cent of everyone registered on the mountain.
