Biografie

Anthony 'Mic' McClaren, a Los Angeles attorney, founded Climb Above Parkinson's in 2017 in memory of his father, US Air Force Master Sergeant Jerry McClaren, who died of the disease in 2016. He climbed the 7 summits on a small budget, with local guides or alone wherever he could: Kilimanjaro, less than a year after his father's death, was the first, Everest on 16 May 2019 the sixth, and Vinson on 3 December 2019 the last, two years and ten days after he began. He tells the story in his book Seven Summits for Dad.
