Biografie

Ci Luo (Tselo) is a Tibetan mountain guide and sports official, born in 1974 in the Shigatse region. In May 1998 he became the first Chinese university student to reach the summit of Everest, and he has summited it four times, the last on 27 May 2020 as leader of the Chinese team that re-measured its height.

A coach with the Chinese national team, he climbed Kilimanjaro in January 2002 and Denali on 28 May 2002, and had completed the 7 summits by December 2005, when he walked to the South Pole with Wang Yongfeng and Liu Jian.
