Biografie

Óscar Arroyo Úbeda is a Spanish mountaineer, born in Donostia-San Sebastián on 12 August 1969 and a resident of Zizur Mayor in Navarra, where he works in food safety at Viscofan. He completed the Messner 7 summits between 2012 and 2026, from Aconcagua in January 2012 to Everest on 20 May 2026, which he climbed with Asian Trekking's Eco Everest Expedition. He wrote first-person accounts of his Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, Carstensz Pyramid, Denali and Vinson expeditions for Pyrenaica, the magazine of the Basque Mountain Federation. In August 2026 Zizur Mayor chose him to launch the txupinazo that opens its town festival.
